Pick from 40 ECW stars like Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, Raven, and Mike Awesome or create a digital persona to duke it out in the squared circle. Then jump into the ring in one of 20 different match types: Three Way Dance, Death Match, Tornado, Lumberjack, Battle Royal, and a host of others. If your friends want to see who is the hardest of the hardcore, plug in a multi-tap and have four people go at it. Commentary by ECW announcer Joey Styles will have you thinking that you are watching a television broadcast. The ECW has earned a reputation for its hardcore matches, in which combatants battle each other with baseball bats and body slams through tables. Thankfully, all of the action of the ECW makes it onto the PlayStation without the potential for injury.
