International Track & Field is a visual treat. With it's 3D characters and perfectly re-created competition arenas Konami has created a stellar track & field game! You can configure the buttons to make new moves and cool cheats as you learn strategies which will help you win. Each competitor can use different styles to achieve speed power and timing. With 4 players competing head-to-head in the events this game is four times the fun! With the little nuances in gameplay which make each event challenging it will take time and dedication to be the gold medal champion in each arena.

It's the multiplayer's race today and there's a packed crowd for this one. Lane 1: Micro Machines V3. Lane 2: ITandF. Lane 3: Crash Team Racing. Lane 4: Worms. On your marks. Get set. Go! And away goes Track and field in an early lead. It's storming away from the others. Track and field wins in a time of 7.54 seconds (that's my record on 100m, thumbs only, no cheating) leaving MMV3 in a nervous 2nd. Track and Field is excellently fun even at it's ripe old age and is prefered by me and many others to Sydney Games and ITF 2. Not much fun if you have no friends though.

Old school is still good. This game is still one of the best. I suggest buying Int. Track & Field 2000 though. This game is a little easier. In the 100m I got a 6.13, but in Int. Track & Field 2000 I got a 8.18. So the old school one is a little easier.
