Worms World Party features a new editor to create and edit your own missions, which you can put on the Internet for others to download. With 20 new multiplayer missions, players can now team up with a buddy on cooperative missions. Plus, there are 45 amazing single-playermissions--from puzzle style to real-time action. The Wormopaedia gives you an extensive catalog of weapons, tips, and mythology. Additional special effects round out this fun and addictive game.

Worms World Party is the latest from the world of the Worms, the little critters with the cult following. For those who haven't come across the franchise before, it's a mixture of Lemmings and Hogs of War: a turn-based battle game that can only be won through careful planning and ingenuity.
As it's a turn-based game, you have to be aware of your actions and plan accordingly. The range of weapons available to you is not only vast but hilarious, from the conventional grenade to the bizarre sheep launcher. Use a mixture of weapons to pick off your opposition and emerge victorious. Weapon skill is vital, and several training levels are available alongside the various playing modes, which include deathmatch, individual missions, and time attack.
The graphics and sound are very good and the worms are brimming with character; their mannerisms add a certain originality to the game. Some of those familiar with the Worms games may be disappointed by the lack of innovation in Worms World Party; however, truly die-hard fans and newcomers will love it. --Chris Hall
